Dress
in layers
In winter, the average temperature in Norway hovers around −5°C (23°F). However, at this time of year, temperatures can be very low and drop below −10°C (14°F). Don’t hesitate to pack extreme-cold gear.
As a general rule, just as for a ski trip, bring several layers of clothing so you can adjust to the weather (thermal base layers, tops and bottoms, fleeces, ski jacket and pants, gloves, warm hats, neck gaiter, etc.), plus warm, waterproof high-top boots. We provide extreme-cold suits for Zodiac outings.
